POSITION : Deputy Sheriff

PAY : Pay will depend on experience

Essential Functions : Ability to communicate orally and in writing, ability to pursue offenders on foot or in a vehicle, restrain adult, carry or drag adult weight, qualify with firearms, drive a patrol vehicle, handle distress calls, perform limited medical procedures, operate police equipment, maintain accurate records, type and operate office machines including computer, prepare reports, testify in court,

Must be able to work different shifts, days, nights, on call, holidays and weekends.

Qualification : Is a graduate of an accredited high school or the equivalent

Is of good moral character

Has never been convicted of a felony

Has not within five years immediately preceding the date of employment been affiliated in any manner with a subversive organization
