Responsibilities
- Modify and finalize product layouts as per instructions from the designing and engineering teams.
- Receive and / or create rough drafts of a product and implement the design in AutoCAD with accurate specifications and features.
- Provide foundation in SolidWorks 3D modeling and AutoCAD 2D, with exposure to mechanical and electrical engineering.
- Develop product designs and layouts from scratch and ensure design and safety standards are met without compromising the basic structure of the product.
- Create perspectives through 3D views to help the production team identify feasible, cost-efficient, and appealing designs.
- Handle multiple projects or tasks simultaneously while maintaining quality of work.
- Communicate requirements with team members and resolve communication issues to align design outcomes with expectations.
- Blend aesthetics and technique to achieve desired results within the assigned timeline.
- Demonstrate strong drawing and mathematics fundamentals relevant to design and engineering.
- Check and assist with assembly of designed products; assist in service and warehouse as needed.
- Complete necessary orders for projects.
Qualifications
Knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD, including creating models and manufacturing drawings.Experience in developing product designs and layouts, applying design and safety standards.Ability to present product perspectives in 3D to support feasibility and cost-effectiveness analyses.Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and resolve design discrepancies.Strong mathematical and engineering design concepts.Company Description
