Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent and 2 years of professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 2 years in HR operations, including the familiarity with onboarding and compliance requirements
• Familiarity with HR policies
• Demonstrated Problem-solving ability
• Ability to provide unbiased guidance and resolutions for various situations
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments, audits and incoming assignments simultaneously

Position Summary

The UHR Employment & Compliance Specialist is an advanced level of a human resources professional. This role is a consultative and investigative position responsible for delivering vHR services across the university's campus community. This role helps create and sustain key systems and maintain campus partnerships to ensure policy compliance and process optimization is met across identified employment groups. The role regularly interfaces widely with leadership, campus partners, and external vendors to ensure operational execution of UHR's policies and best practices.
