We are looking for a diligent and dependable Accountant to join our team on a Contract basis. This role is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and will primarily focus on payment processing tasks utilizing Oracle systems. The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing financial transactions, navigating bank portals, and ensuring efficient workflows.

Responsibilities :

• Process payments within Oracle systems, including payment runs, check issuance, and transactions.
• Input and manage payment data in bank portals, such as leading financial institutions, adhering to consistent formatting requirements.
• Print physical checks in-office as required, typically 1-2 days per week.
• Train team members on payment system workflows and navigation to ensure smooth transitions and skill hand-offs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to identify and implement improvements in Oracle payment processes.
• Ensure accuracy and reliability in repetitive data entry tasks related to payment operations.
• Support compliance with company protocols while maintaining efficiency in financial processes.
• Proficiency in Oracle systems, including Oracle Fusion.
• Familiarity with payment processing workflows and bank portals, particularly major financial institutions such as JP Morgan.
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and journal entries.
• Knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH) processes and bank reconciliations.
• Ability to train team members and facilitate effective skill transfer.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
• Comfort working onsite occasionally for check printing tasks.
