Job Description
We’re looking for a Purchasing Agent to support our construction operations and vendor network. Reporting to the Purchasing & Estimating Manager, this role will evaluate and onboard new vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure budgets and scopes are aligned for residential development projects.
What You’ll Do
- Assist in creating budgets for vertical construction.
- Estimate and analyze project costs with insights into assigned regions.
- Build and strengthen subcontractor relationships while expanding the vendor base.
- Solicit, review, and negotiate subcontractor bids and purchase orders.
- Conduct basic construction takeoffs and ensure scopes match project requirements.
- Manage contracts, purchase orders, and change orders.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and track vendor performance.
- Support communication between subcontractors and field teams.
