Job Description

Position : Senior Procurement Manager

Compensation : $110,000 - $125,000 annually, depending on experience

Location : Lewisville, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a leader in the automotive industry to help find a skilled Senior Procurement Manager to join their team!

Join a dynamic team as a Senior Procurement Manager, where you'll lead category management strategies and drive procurement excellence. This opportunity arises as the previous team member was promoted internally, offering you a chance to make a significant impact right off the bat! You'll manage a small team, work closely with executives, and play a pivotal role in the company's journey towards potentially going public. Key Responsibilities & Duties :

  • Develop and execute category management plans for indirect spend
  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and vendor negotiations
  • Manage procurement operations and ensure compliance
  • Mentor and support procurement teammates
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on procurement strategies
  • Conduct in-depth spend analysis for strategic planning
  • Promote standardization of purchasing policies
  • Drive innovation within the supply base
  • Track and report category spend analytics

Required Qualifications & Experience :

  • Minimum 7 years in category management or strategic sourcing
  • Proven track record in developing category strategies
  • Strong experience in negotiating complex contracts
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Expertise in category planning and supplier segmentation
  • Strong analytical skills for spend data interpretation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    • Nice to Have Skills & Experience :

  • Experience with capital expense equipment
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices
  • Experience with sourcing methodologies and TCO analysis
  • Familiarity with supplier performance management processes
  • Understanding of sustainability goals in procurement

  • Onsite 4 days a week with some flexibility.
