Position : IT Support Specialist

Reports To : Director of Communications
Southwest Sport & Spine Center, Inc. is looking for an IT Support Specialist to provide immediate support for hardware and software issues, conduct basic training, and administer network systems. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, maintain detailed records, and possess strong problem-solving abilities. Compensation is based on experience.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issuesInstall, configure, and update desktop systemsTest and deploy new hardware and softwareResolve helpdesk tickets efficiently and professionallyCoordinate equipment repairs and replacementsTrain end users on software and systemsSupport onboarding by ensuring new employees are tech-readyTravel to branch locations as needed for on-site supportQualifications
1–3 years of IT support experienceAssociate degree or certifications (e.g., CompTIA, HDI, ITIL, Microsoft, CCNA)Strong interpersonal and customer service skillsProficiency with Windows 10 / 11 and Microsoft 365Solid troubleshooting skills for hardware and networkingFamiliarity with Active Directory and network securityUnderstanding of TCP / IP networking fundamentalsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsTime-managementPhysical Requirements
Manual dexterity, general strength, and enduranceLift : 5–35 lbs. routinely; push up to 150 lbs.Carry : 5–10 lbs. for 40–50 feetGrip : Sustain 40–50 lbs. for 1–2 minutesOccasionally view screens and use keyboards for up to 1 hourHIPAA Compliance
