job_description.job_card.job_descriptionLocation : Avon Dental Group, 20 West Avon Road, Suite 101, Avon, CT 06001 4.9 Google rating based on 127+ reviews 14 operatories (10 for providers, 4 for hygiene) Onsite parking Digital X-rays and paperless charting (Eaglesoft & Dentrix) Multi-specialty services : General, cosmetic, restorative, endodontic, and periodontal care Family-friendly amenities : Childrens play area, fish tank, extended hours, 24 / 7 emergency care Monday & Friday - 8am-5pm Tuesday - 7 : 30am-5pm Thursday - 7 : 30am-6pm Saturday - 8am-1pm once a month Create a warm and comfortable experience for patients Assist with a variety of dental procedures including general and specialty care Prepare operatories and sterilize instruments to OSHA standards Capture diagnostic-quality digital X-rays Support the doctor with procedures including suctioning, instrument passing, tray setup, and patient communication Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment instructions Track and order inventory, restock supplies, and maintain cleanliness in the operatories Accurately chart in Eaglesoft / Dentrix and support front-office coordination as needed High school diploma or equivalent required Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program (preferred) DANB CDA, ICE, RHS, and current CPR certification (preferred) Minimum 2 years of dental office experience Experience with Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar dental software (preferred) Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset Step 1 : Initial phone screen Step 2 : In-person interview and office tour Other
