Their partnership also enables the expansion of our Metro Detroit Service Center operations into a larger, state-of-the-art facility. Together, we provide unmatched AC and DC motor knowledge and service capabilities across a wide range of industries, including power generation, metals, mining, chemical processing, paper, wastewater, OEM manufacturing, and more.

Key Responsibilities

We're looking for an experienced Electric Motor Mechanic to join our growing team. In this role, you'll use your technical expertise, analytical mindset, and attention to detail to repair industrial AC / DC electric motors, generators, pumps, gearboxes, and related rotating equipment, all while contributing to our culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include :

• Diagnosing, disassembling, repairing, assembling, and preparing equipment for shipment
• Performing mechanical rebuilds on electric motors, pumps, and fans
• Measuring and recording data using precision tools (dial indicators, micrometers, vibration meters, etc.)
• Conducting electrical tests using multimeters, meggers, and Baker instruments
• Measuring winding resistance, RTD and heater resistances, and mechanical fits / clearances
• Participating in daily discussions on customer products and workflow
