Creative Financial Staffing is partnered with a pharmaceutical company seeking an Accounting Manager to join their accounting team.

About the Company Seeking a Accounting Manager :

  • Founded 13+ years ago
  • Recently moved into commercial sales for certain products and they have several trials in Phase 2 or 3
  • Awaiting FDA final approval for one of their major treatments and are in progress with European Union approval
  • Flexible hybrid schedule with minimal in-office presence

Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager :

  • Review and own accruals, payroll, cash, fixed assets, and other entries
  • Prepare accruals for medical affairs, commercial affairs, and research
  • Review contracts for terms related to accruals
  • Lead meetings to discuss completion percentage of certain projects
  • Assist with stock compensation accounting

    • Background Expected of the Controller :

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or experience equivalent (+4 years)
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting, including 3+ years with a publicly traded company
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion or similar ERP product
