Position : Registered Nurse (RN) – Med / Surg Telemetry

Shift : 12-Hour Days

Schedule : 36 hours per week, every other weekend

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Med / Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care on a medical-surgical telemetry unit, demonstrating strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Deliver safe and effective patient care in a Med / Surg Telemetry setting.
  • Monitor, assess, and record patients’ vital signs and telemetry readings.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Float to other Med / Surg Tele units as needed.

    • Required Qualifications :

  • Active RN license (state-specific or compact).
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required.
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – Required.
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg Telemetry experience .

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Epic EMR experience preferred.
  • Float experience within Med / Surg Tele units preferred.

    • Schedule Details :

  • 12-hour day shifts.
  • 36 hours per week.
  • Every other weekend rotation required.
