Registered Nurse Job Details

Location : Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York healthcare job)

Assignment Length : 3 weeks (March 17, 2025 – April 7, 2025)

Healthcare Setting : Surgical Stay Unit (Short Stay Unit, Med Surg)

Shift : 12-hour nights, 3 shifts per week

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Estimated Weekly Pay : $2620 - $2810 per week

Employment Type : Travel nursing assignment

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State or compact state

At least 1 year of recent experience as an OR RN or in a Surgical Stay Unit / Med Surg setting

Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) required

BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)

Excellent communication, clinical, and teamwork skills

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in the Surgical Stay Unit during the EPIC Go Live transition

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective patient transitions

Accurately document patient care and procedures using EPIC EMR

Support patients through pre-operative and post-operative care in a fast-paced clinical environment

Respond promptly to patient needs, emergencies, and changes in condition
