Overview
Electrical Repair Station Technician 2 (H / F) - SAFRAN CABIN INC. role at AEROCONTACT. The Repair Technician provides service and repair of mechanical, electronic and hydraulic equipment in accordance with current technical data. It requires technical knowledge, effective diagnostic, repair and testing techniques related to a wide variety of equipment.
Salary : The expected salary range for this position is between $20.13 / hr - $31.64 / hr, USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, replace, clean, repair and rebuild a variety of equipment, components and / or systems using diagnostic and test equipment and tools specific to the trade.
- Apply principles and practices of electrical and electronics theory; interpret and follow technical manuals, blueprints, mechanical drawings, schematics, Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, government and industry standard practices.
- Make computer entries and complete maintenance documentation in accordance with FAA Regulations and company policies.
- Follow industry / government guidelines related to safety, health and environmental practices.
- Assist with research and development of new repair capabilities; read and understand new manuals and participate in on- and off-site training.
- Assist with maintenance of shop equipment and supplies; maintain an organized workstation and shop floor in accordance with 5S standards.
Qualifications
Education : High School diploma; Experience : 3 - 5 years.Computer Skills : Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook).Thorough electro-mechanical assembly and troubleshooting skills; strong attention to detail; ability to work in a fast-paced department; ability to handle stress diplomatically.Ability to communicate clearly in English; good knowledge of Aviation Maintenance.Ability to use common hand tools and precision measuring equipment (micrometers, depth gauges, flow meters, pressure gauges).Ability to use electrical measuring equipment (multimeters, temperature gauges); safe operation of electrical equipment (power supplies) per company policies.Crimping and soldering skills; ability to read and interpret component maintenance manuals and drawings to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions.Preferred : 2-year technical degree; experience in a manufacturing environment.Additional Information
