Starting Salary Range : $60,907 - $79,179 annually ($31.24 - $40.61 per hour) DOE, plus benefits

As an EHA Computer Services Technician, you will join a team dedicated to ensuring IT Assets are configured securely, supported and properly maintained. This position works directly with the IT Department and other EHA departments to ensure that technology needs are filled, as well as complying with EHA policy. This position will work collaboratively with the IT and HR team to ensure that technology needs of employees are provided on schedule and assets are tracked and properly disposed of.

The ideal candidate will care deeply about our mission and will be a self-starter, exercise independent judgement, learn and execute technical requirements, and excel at working with our staff to resolve technology related issues. We are looking for a person with a positive attitude, ability to manage multiple projects at once, a collaborative mindset, and who is comfortable working with a diverse variety of cultures, viewpoints, and skillsets. They will have experience with Windows and smart phone and tablet operating systems and applications, installations and configurations. Linux and server experience is a plus.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Essential Functions

  • Provide expert support for laptops, desktops, and remote access technologies as well as provide IT support as required for hardware, software, smart phone, and remote access;
  • Manage user account setup and administration in MS Active Directory;
  • Provide basic server and administration support for daily operations in a Windows environment;
  • Assess and recommend standard configurations for new and existing desktop and laptops;
  • Diagnose and resolve level 2 and 3 technical problems with computer hardware, networking and software;
  • Install and configure PC hardware and software at end user workstations and tests for correct operation;
  • Serve as a backup support person and administrator of the telephone system and Network Administrator and IT Manager;
  • Train and assist users in the use of personal computers, peripheral devices and software to diagnose problems, resolve issues and increase productivity;
  • Log PC software bugs and search for solutions via information resources and upgrades available on the internet and / or direct communication with software vendors;
  • Implement approved solutions to achieve increased user efficiency using approved tools and techniques;
  • Provide support for company cellular phones and wireless devices. Maintain inventory of all wireless communications equipment.
