Security Officer - Unarmed Industrial Patrol

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a manufacturing and industrial location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you interact with staff and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Position Type : Full Time

Pay Rate : $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Mon 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Tue 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Wed 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Thur 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Fri 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and / or responding to emergency situations as needed
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions
  • Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and / or contractors within the manufacturing and industrial location
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activities according to established protocols
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and maintaining awareness of all persons on site
  • Support Allied Universal management and local law enforcement as required during incidents or emergency response activities

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
