Title of Position : Counter Server

Reports to : General Manager

Overall Responsibility : This job role is vital to the success of Planet Smoothie. The counter server ensures we have top notch guest service and that our products are served with 100% satisfaction. It is the counter server’s responsibility to provide guests with prompt service, quality beverages and products. At Planet Smoothie, we want our guests to experience a friendly, upbeat, clean and comfortable atmosphere.

Key Areas of Responsibility :

• Acts with integrity, honesty & knowledge that promotes the culture, values & mission of Planet Smoothie
• Guest driven : welcomes and engages with every guest who visits Planet Smoothie
• Delivers legendary guest service by determining the guest’s needs & suggesting products to enhance service & meet or exceed sales goals.
• Prepares all smoothies to exact recipes and standards
• Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products
• Follows Planet Smoothie’s standards for stocking and storing of products
• Maintains a clean and organized workspace so that partners can locate resources and product as needed
• Presents oneself as friendly and enthusiast about “Changing the way the Planet eats.”
• Anticipates guest and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and guests for cues
• Maintain a detailed knowledge of Planet Smoothie’s products
• Develops rapport with loyal guests by learning their names and favorite smoothies
• Follows store policies and procedures outlined by the general manager
• Follows the policies and procedures for handling cash and using the cash register
• Contributes to the store goals for increasing sales and improving profits
• Creates ways for guests to interact with our product; sampling, up sale, etc.
• Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep the store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the shift team
• Assists with new partner training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful coaching as needed.
• Contributes to positive ream environment by recognizing changes in partner morale & performance & communicating them to the store manager
• Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
