Interested candidates must possess a high level of academic achievement, solid law firm, engineering, or industry experience, and superb writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Draft and prosecute patent applications across electrical engineering and software domains.

Work on projects in machine learning / artificial intelligence, neural networks, RF circuitry, encryption / decryption, hardware and communications security.

Collaborate with engineers, innovators, and legal teams to tailor strategies for high-tech inventions.

Qualifications

J.D., active bar admission (in your intended jurisdiction), and USPTO registration.

Degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, software engineering, computer science, physics, or related discipline.

At least 3 years of patent preparation and prosecution experience in electrical / software technologies.

Outstanding written and oral communication skills, exceptional academic credentials.

Location & Hybrid Model

Open to Atlanta, Denver, Houston, St. Louis, Kansas City, Los Angeles, or San Francisco.

Hybrid work model requiring a minimum of 2-3 days / week in office (occasional exceptions possible for strong patent agents
