Job Title : Warehouse Delivery Driver (Part-time)
Department : Community Advancement (Aunt Bette’s Community Food Pantry)

Reports to : Pantry Warehouse Manager
Job Type : Part-time (25-30 hours per week as needed)
Vehicle Description : 2020 Chevrolet Express (11’ Reefer Box Truck with Lift Gate)
Pay Range : : $18.00 per hour
Hours : MWF 7 a.m. – 2 : 00 p.m. Tuesday (flexible around 8 : 00 a.m. – 11 : 30 a.m.) OFF - Thursdays
Requirements :
Education and Experience :
- Valid Texas driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Experience with managing and warehouse space and inventory control
- Bi-lingual (Spanish / English) preferred
Supervisory Responsibilities :
Will provide backup and supervision of volunteer staff and provide warehouse supervision / support to team in absence of Warehouse manager as needed.
Duties / Responsibilities :
Plans and completes an efficient delivery and pick up route for the days indicated on scheduleLoads delivery vehicle with good and products scheduled for deliveryDelivers goods to campus, obtaining signatures and proof of receipt when necessary.Picks up goods on scheduled route, including items to be transported for special services or events as requested to include regular and / or occasional pick-ups at external client locationsMaintains basic records of truck mileage and deliveries made.Ensures that delivery vehicle receives basic service according to maintenance schedule; maintaining appropriate level of fuel for travel, daily inspection of tires and body for damage or repair, reports larger service needs and mechanical issues to supervisor.Assists in general warehouse duties when delivery route is completed including re-stock, inventory control and assistance with warehouse distribution.Performs other related duties as assigned.Required Skills / Abilities :
Ability to drive safely and meet safety standards required to maintain active license.Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and / or web-based or physical maps.Ability to plan delivery route and execute expeditiouslyAbility to maintain basic logs and records.Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision.Able to remain professional and courteous at all times with customers, donors and clients of the pantry.Physical Requirements :
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds regularly.Must be able to load and unload good and packages with and without dollies in various types of weather.The Warehouse Delivery Driver will be responsible for picking up, delivery and storage of both perishable and non-perishable merchandise and good for the food pantry. Also responsible for transporting items from one location to another.Work Environment
