Student Programs Coordinator

As the primary point of contact for students, parents, and districts in the Student Programs department, which includes ACE and VLAC, you'll set the tone for every interaction by delivering excellent customer service and fostering positive relationships. From answering questions and guiding families through processes to supporting staff and collaborating with partners, your role is central in creating a welcoming, professional, and responsive environment that keeps Student Programs running smoothly.
Support departmental planning, decision-making, problem solving, and documentation of goals and priorities.
Assist in developing and maintaining standard operating procedures.
Report operational concerns to the Supervisor and recommend solutions.
Assist with daily operations, coordination, and management of projects.
Provide support for professional development activities and meetings, including preparing materials, coordinating logistics, and managing participant registration.
Create and revise presentations, handouts, flyers, brochures, agendas, reports, contracts, and other communication materials.
Handle copying, duplicating, and transmitting materials.
Establish, maintain, and update files, records, and other documents, including confidential materials.
Serve as a liaison for internal and external clients.
Answer and route calls, provide general program information, and respond to routine inquiries.
Maintain inquiry logs as requested.
Promote excellent customer service and reinforce the organization's mission, goals, policies, and commitment to diversity.
Participate in meetings, committees, and team activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) (Associates degree preferred) and a minimum of three years experience and / or training directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Proficiency with student information systems (e.g., MISTAR) and accurate database / record management for reporting and compliance.
Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, Gmail, Calendar, Forms) and Microsoft Office Suite.
