Position : Consultant Position for WW / US Medical Communications Manager

Position Summary
The primary responsibility for the WW / US Medical Communications Manager is the development and execution of a comprehensive, globally aligned strategic WW / US medical publications and content plans to support the effective communication of data and launch for safe and effective use of Client medicines. Develop and update WW / US medical content per clinical development program, publications, data presentations, congress activity, MI inquiry trends, global communication platform, product safety reports and treatment landscape.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes and interprets scientific data to update or develop comprehensive, balanced, credible and accurate documents that comply with applicable laws, regulations, guidance and Client policies and procedures.
- Communicates scientific information to healthcare providers and customers involved in evidence-based healthcare decisions.
- Manages and coordinates development and maintenance of Oncology product-related Standard Response Documents (medical information responses) to ensure availability of concise, comprehensive responses and to facilitate rapid responses to customer inquiries worldwide.
- Reviews medical content of specified Oncology assets for data accuracy and completion.
- Manages and prioritizes multiple projects, provides solutions to complex problems, and delivers complete and accurate information within deadlines.
- Assists with communication of the Oncology strategy to healthcare providers, payers, access influencers, and healthcare decision makers.
- Evaluates and contributes to Medical Information processes for responding to unsolicited inquiries and provides training to internal and external matrix partners on appropriate use of these processes.
- Collaborates across the cross-matrix team to inform the development of Oncology content plans addressing local market unmet medical needs.
- Develops Medical Contact Center training on disease state, product overview and relevant market events to ensure readiness to address customer inquiries.
- Collaborates with Medical Customer Engagement and Contact Center to inform on new content deliverables and consult on training / messaging for new scientific data.
- Contributes to departmental efforts to develop, implement or improve processes and operations (including systems / technology, quality assurance, writing policies and procedures).
- Maintains awareness of current industry practices pertaining to Medical Communications and Access Scientific Content.
- Works with cross-functional teams worldwide to ensure consistent messaging and communication of medical information and key messages.
- Supports global standardization of Medical content to streamline creation, distribution and curation of content while eliminating redundancies.
- Ensures effective rollout and communication, implements feedback loops, and identifies continuous improvement opportunities for content development.
- Develops, maintains and enhances a high level of knowledge in therapeutic areas to provide high-quality medical communication support.
- Manages vendor / agency partnerships to drive planning and execution of local market publication and content deliverables.
Job Requirements
Required :
PharmD, MD, PhD or equivalentMinimum of 1-2 years of experience in clinical practice, pharmaceutical industry or medical communications agency (highly preferred)Ability to manage various projects, solve problems, deliver on commitments, and work with multidisciplinary teamsProficiency in basic computer programsExcellent scientific / medical written and verbal communication skills in local language and EnglishThis position is 100% on-sitePreferred :
