Finance Specialist

The Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources (IANR) Business Centers are a cohesive team that provide professional service, efficient resource management, and effective solution development in with integrity, accountability and focus on the customer. This position will provide financial management support for the faculty and programs at both the West Central Research, Extension and Education Center in North Platte and the Panhandle Research, Extension and Education Center in Scottsbluff, NE. This position may be located in either North Platte or Scottsbluff, NE.

As a Finance Specialist, you will :

• Serve in a consultative role and be responsible for providing finance support in a timely and accurate manner and in compliance with all applicable institutional, UNL, State, and Federal regulations, policies, and guidelines.
• Execute and review routine and complex finance transactions.
• Work closely with employees within the departments served, as well as functional office staff, providing a high level of customer service and professionalism in all interactions.
• Function under limited supervision and be expected to utilize technology to provide professional services.
