Pay & Sign-On Bonus :
- Hourly Pay : $24.32 $39.36 / hr
- Sign-On Bonus :
$12,000 for a 2-year commitment (less than 1 year of experience)

Large Academic Level I Trauma Hospital Multiple Shifts Available :
Daylight : Monday Friday, variable start between 3 : 00 a.m. 7 : 00 a.m.Afternoon : Monday Friday, 1 : 00 p.m. 9 : 30 p.m.Night : Monday Friday, 10 : 00 p.m. 6 : 30 a.m.Children's Hospital :
Day Shift : 11 : 00 a.m. 7 : 30 p.m., with rotating weekends and holidaysNote : Schedule may adjust with new service lines. Flexibility is valued to determine the most efficient start time.2. Responsibilities
Accurately prepare slides for microtomy using barcode labels to maintain correct patient identification.Demonstrate complete knowledge of CoPath related to Histology workflow.Progress toward working independently in advanced staining areas.Ensure all tissues are embedded and cut according to department-specific protocols with proper orientation and complete sections, free of folds, chatter, artifacts, or floaters.Maintain instruments following quality control specifications and daily maintenance protocols.Perform QC checks at each phase of processing / staining.Perform ancillary or miscellaneous tasks such as filing, cleaning, and stocking supplies.Process and prepare surgical and autopsy tissue specimens for embedding, cutting, staining, and coverslipping.Embed and cut specialized tissue, including minute biopsy protocols.3. Qualifications
Education :Successful completion of a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college / university with 30 semester hours of biology and chemistry .
Experience :1 year of clinical histology laboratory experience post-training if not a graduate of an accredited training program .
Certification :ASCP Histotechnologist (HTL) certification required within 12 months of hire .
