3rd shift Direct Care / Residential Support

SUMMARY
Overnight Support Staff provide safety monitoring for facility and serve to provide support for residents who are awake in the late evening and early morning and promote healthy sleep hygiene. Like other direct care staff, their work focuses primarily on assisting residents with their recovery process.
The Farm ONA position will be full-time, with a minimum of 30 hours per week during the third shift. Schedules include Wednesday - Saturday overnight hours.
Pay : Starting at 17.50 per hour and pay increase based on experience

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Works to assure the safety and security of CooperRiis facilities both inside and outside the building(s) as appropriate by doing hourly rounds.
Supports residents in maintaining healthy sleep schedules or in activating other support resources in times of need or crisis.
Assists in cleaning and organizing community spaces as needs arise.
Acquires general knowledge of each resident’s specific goals, builds rapport, and utilizes appropriate skills to support residents when needed.
Works with the residential or clinical staff when assistance is needed to help a resident who may need special care.
Administers routine and PRN medications, and attends ongoing medication administration trainings as directed by the Nursing Director.
Responds to emerging critical needs or crises as directed by Clinical Staff or the Managing Director.
Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent relevant life / work experience.
The Support Staff member will be 21 or above and demonstrate that they have the work or life experience necessary to perform the duties to which they are assigned.
A valid drivers’ license is required, as well as ability to drive residents if necessary.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Experience in working with adults who are coping with mental health challenge or emotional distress from mental illness is preferred.
