Location : Goodland, Kansas
Salary : $120,000 - $140,000 annually, depending on experience and overall package.
Rx relief is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacist to join their team in Goodland, Kansas. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional to make a significant impact in a community-focused environment.
Position Overview :
The Pharmacist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the pharmacy operates efficiently, safely, and with a commitment to exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing patient education, and overseeing pharmacy staff. Accuracy, safety, and leadership are paramount to success in this position.
Key Responsibilities :
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and safely.
- Provide counseling on medication usage, health promotion, and disease prevention to customers.
- Administer vaccines and maintain current CPR certification.
- Manage and oversee pharmacy inventory.
- Review prescriptions for accuracy and compatibility with patient medical history and allergy profiles.
- Advise physicians and other healthcare professionals on medication selection, dosage, and side effects.
- Complete third-party insurance billing.
- Manage pharmacy technicians and other staff while on duty.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state pharmacy laws and regulations.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Report any concerns or issues to the pharmacist in charge or pharmacy manager.
Schedule :
Monday through Friday, 9 : 00 AM to 6 : 00 PM (4-day work week).One Saturday per month, 9 : 00 AM to 1 : 00 PM.Qualifications :
Must possess a Kansas pharmacist license or have the ability to obtain one.Minimum of one year of Pharmacist experienceProfessional Skills :
