Description :

We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry for a night shift position.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a telemetry setting.

Candidates must possess a valid state license and the following certifications : BCLS and NIH.

ACLS and CPI certifications are preferred.

The patient-to-nurse ratio on this unit is 1 : 5-6.

Weekend shifts are required, with a total of 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week period.

The clinician will be expected to float within their scope to meet facility needs.

Candidates must be proficient in the management of telemetry patients and cardiac drips without titration.

Skills required include the administration of cardiac medications, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and the management of central lines and chest tubes.

Interdisciplinary support services will be available on the unit.

The daily patient census typically reaches 14, with the unit housing 28 beds.
