GENERAL PURPOSE
Under the supervision of the Physical Plants Manager, this position performs urgent HVAC repair calls, diagnosing and resolving issues, and ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and effectively.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to emergency service calls for HVAC systems
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial HVAC equipment such as split systems, packaged units, chillers, cooling towers, boilers, valves, expansion tanks, and pumps
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial kitchen equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, steamers, dishwashers, ovens, and hood systems
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs on HVAC control systems
- Perform thorough inspections and testing of HVAC equipment to identify problems
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain issues, provide recommendations, and ensure understanding of the repair process
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including service reports and repair documentation
- Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and parts
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to company standards and procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service and uphold the company's reputation
- Perform preventative maintenance on heating, air conditioning, food service, refrigeration, and ventilation systems as needed
