To join our team, you should have :
A current state RN license or a multistate compact license.An associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.Required Skills and Certifications
Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (or obtained within 90 days after hire).Current American Heart Association ACLS Certification (or obtained within 6 months after hire).Current American Heart Association PALS Certification (or obtained within 6 months after hire).Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.Effective communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.Minimum Work Experience
Two or more years of experience in an acute care setting.Knowledge of physical assessment, aseptic techniques, IV skills, and universal precautions.Essential Functions
Performing plan of care interventions, including medication administration and clinical treatments.Documenting patient care provided.Monitoring and communicating patient conditions to the care team, physician, and family.Assisting patients with daily living activities.Collaborating across disciplines to coordinate patient care.Evaluating learning needs and providing appropriate education to patients and families.Advocating for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.Department / Unit Summary
1 : 1 patient ratio as only procedures are performed.Patients have procedures completed in radiology and are taken back to the floor or to ACU for discharge.About Our Health System
