Hours for the position are 8 : 00-5 : 00 M-F and can be flexible, as well as the location. Potential for some evenings or weekends when attending or assisting with community events on behalf of the bank.
Job Overview
The Community Engagement & Sponsorships Coordinator plays a key role in strengthening the bank's presence and reputation within the communities it serves. This position is responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating community outreach initiatives, sponsorships, and partnerships that align with the bank's strategic goals and corporate social responsibility (CSR) objectives. The ideal candidate is passionate about community development, skilled in relationship-building, and experienced in event coordination and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and vet potential sponsorship opportunities.
- Develop strategic ideas and concepts for sponsorship opportunities.
- Manage communications, payments, tracking, and development for sponsorships.
- Track contributions and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate fundraising campaigns and events
- Recruit, communicate, and maintain associate participation at event functions.
- Assist with recording of employee hours for CRA-qualified volunteer participation in the community and CRA-qualified donations.
- Procure and distribute promotional materials and apparel.
- Assist with client survey process and maintaining database of results.
- Maintain Marketing Department's accounts payable.
- Establish and maintain marketing collateral and supply inventory.
- Lead company-sponsored events to ensure a positive attendance experience.

Qualifications, Skills and Abilities
High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Associates degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred.Minimum 6 months of demonstrated experience within a marketing department or similar, with flexibility to substitute years of experience for educational requirements or related work experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic design tools.Demonstrated experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) and digital marketing concepts.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Ability to manage multiple projects.Identify and vet potential sponsorship opportunities and organizationsManage donor communications and appreciation efforts.Track contributions and maintain accurate records.Coordinate fundraising campaigns and events.Knowledge of the banking industry and CSR best practices is a plus.Ability to lift 50 pounds.
