Position Summary :

The EOB Follow-up / Insurance Specialist is responsible for managing claims submission, denial resolution, payment posting, and aged accounts receivable (A / R) follow-up. This role supports accurate and timely revenue cycle operations while ensuring compliance with payer requirements and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare, submit, and follow up on claims with Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurance payers.
• Manage claim denials, including research, correction, and resolution.
• Post and reconcile payments accurately in the billing system.
• Assist with aged A / R cleanup for accounts over 30 / 60 / 90+ days.
• Maintain documentation of billing activities, claim status, and payer communications.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to support efficient revenue cycle processes.
• Adhere to HIPAA, compliance, and confidentiality standards.
