About The Mulberry

Opening November 2025 in the heart of Sawtelle, The Mulberry is a modern Korean American restaurant reimagining the neighborhood bistro. Our opening team brings deep culinary pedigree from Benu, Marea, Daniel, French Laundry, abc Jean-Georges, 53 at MoMA, and the world of Anthony Bourdain.

Our menu blends Korean heritage with precise technique and seasonal California ingredients, emphasizing fermentation, fire, and flavor. Dishes are playful yet grounded, honoring tradition while offering bold new interpretations of Korean American comfort food.

The dining room, designed in collaboration with Matt Winter, evokes swanky elegance and warm hospitality. Guests can expect a full bar, a curated wine list, and a standout pastry program.

At our core, The Mulberry is about respect, joy, and intention. We're building a tight-knit kitchen culture that values excellence, pride, and shared ambition. This is a rare opportunity to join one of LA’s most anticipated openings from the ground up.
