Warehouse Operations Specialist

Responsible for operating an electric pallet jack or Reach and Stock picker, selecting the correct products from warehouse racking, labeling product using RF label technology, palletizing product as it is selected to build customer orders, and delivering product to the dock in a safe and efficient manner. Hand selects orders, operates assigned RF unit to create labels, correctly places labels on product, stacks product on pallets in accordance with proper selecting procedures (e.g., no stacking heavy-on-light, labels facing out, etc.), stages pallets for loading on proper dock locations, stretch-wraps product on loading dock, maintains and safely operates all assigned equipment, including but not limited to pallet jack, RF unit, and personal protective equipment, and performs pre and post-trip inspections of equipment. This position requires working until all products are accurately selected and loaded including potential overtime on holidays and weekends. Essential skills include the ability to meet or exceed minimum efficiency levels established through an engineered production standard, working rapidly at a constant pace for the entire shift in a fast paced environment, meeting or exceeding established cases per error goals, and developing a good working knowledge of product, placement, and inventory control techniques and procedures. Basic requirements include being over the age of 18, the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English as it relates to the job and safety requirements, basic arithmetic skills, and adequate physical fitness, being on time and consistent.

Large truck shipments picking and building pallets ready for shipping and also may include cleaning and lumping trucks.

12. Will training be provided? If so, what is the duration? Yes it would depend on the individual and how quickly they catch on they are trained on the fundamentals and then based on need.

I have never interviewed temps in the past mostly relied on the agency to send applications to review so I guess 1 interview and phone is fine but also after seeing applications maybe just pick from them? a.
