Engage in Training : Participate in ongoing training to enhance your skills and effectiveness. Age Requirement : Must be at least 21 years old . Education : High School Diploma, GED, or HSED required. Background Check : Must pass a caregiver / criminal background check. Substance-Free : Must be free from chemical use problems for the past two years if working with youth with substance use issues. Authorization : Must provide documentation to work legally in the U.S.
