Description : Blanchard Valley Health System in partnership with The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a full-time Vascular Surgeon to help shape a high-quality community-focused vascular program in Northwest Ohio. This is a unique opportunity to lead program growth manage diverse cases and enjoy schedule flexibility with strong clinical support — all while making a meaningful impact in a collaborative patient-centered environment.

Job Description :

Establish and lead a community-based vascular surgery program at Blanchard Valley Health System in partnership with The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.Provide advanced vascular surgical care including Abdominal and thoracic aneurysmal disease Carotid artery disease Hemodialysis access Peripheral vascular disease and limb salvage.Perform both open and endovascular procedures.Manage vascular conditions with medical therapy lifestyle modification and non-surgical interventions.Maintain a weekly schedule of 2 clinic days3 procedural / surgical daysTake 10 night / weekend call shifts per month does not include daytime coverage.Share call responsibilities with A PRN vascular surgeon A vascular surgery APP and An OSU vascular surgeon phone support onlySupervise advanced practice providers involved in vascular care delivery.Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment with cardiology interventional radiology and other specialties.Participate in the development and future expansion of the program including Recruitment of an additional vascular surgeon and APP by end of 2027 and Transition to a hybrid operating room construction planned to complete by 2027Deliver patient-centered care in a high-quality community-focused setting.Educate and counsel patients and families on treatment options wellness and disease prevention.Maintain responsive and open communication with referring physicians.Participate in institutional service activities at the department college and medical center levels.Serve as a preceptor and provide training to Medical students Residents Fellows Nursing staff and Allied health professionalsOpportunity for program leadership based on experience and interest.Receive a clinical faculty appointment Assistant or Associate Professor with The Ohio State University role is 100 clinical and based in Findlay Ohio non-academic site.REHABILITATION CARDIAC AND VASCULAR SERVICES Stress Echo DOBUTamine Stress EchoCardiolite Treadmill Stress Test Lexiscan Cardiolite Stress Test Treadmill EKG Stress Test EKG Transesophageal echocardiogram TEE Cardiac Catheterization Vascular Testing Cardiac Rehabilitation Nuclear Medicine Emergency Cardiac Care

Compensation and Benefits :

Base salary starting at 500000 for 0–3 years of experienceBase salary of 550000 for 4–6 years of experienceBase salary of 600000 for 7 or more years of experienceGroup goals focused on quality operations and productivity and determined by Division DirectorPotential to earn annual bonus up to 75K based on scorecard metrics to be established by the
