Job Summary

The Software Engineer Supervisor is responsible for directing the activities for maintaining and enhancing mission critical software programs. This position receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet objectives. In addition, the Supervisor is expected to actively participate in software development activities.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Overseeing the verification, debugging, documentation and modification of computer programs for commercial or end user applications.
• Managing the work assignments for several engineers as well as direct software development by the manager.
• Analyze and investigate software issues reported by customers (external and internal) and prepare analysis, recommendations and design solutions.
• Participate in software development activities that can include design reviews, coding, code reviews, debugging, documentation, etc.
• Other duties may be assigned as required.

Education and Experience Requirements

The base salary pay range for this job level is a general guideline and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
