  • Rounding Included : Yes; Daily
  • Required procedures : Pediatric Resuscitation and Intubation.
  • Duties : Pediatric hospitalist is the attending for any children admitted through the ER or by direct admit.
  • Trauma Level : II
  • EMR : Cerner Care B
  • Other Info :
  • Facility does not have a PICU and NICU is covered by Neonatologists.
  • Emergency Codes are run by Emergency Med physicians.
  • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements :

  • Active CA License
  • BC / BE (Pediatrics) If BE : within 3 yrs post residency.
  • CA DEA
  • PALS
  • Clean record
  • COVID Vaccination proof
  • Can cover the required shifts.
  • Active staff membership at a TJC-accredited hospital, without privilege restriction.
  • Must be CA Children's Services CCS) paneled.
  • Must provide resident teaching / precepting.
