HEART OF THE ROCKIES REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER Surgical RN Needed work in beautful Salida, CO The Upper Arkansas Valley is an outdoor recreational dream. Since six of every seven acres is designated public lands, the Valley is the perfect location for hiking, biking, horseback riding, trail running, rock climbing, boating, fishing and hunting. In the winter there are designated snowmobile routes and backcountry skiing. Monarch Ski & Snowboard Area is just 18 miles west of Salida. The Arkansas River is known for its world-class trout fishery, kayaking, and whitewater rafting. SHIFT : 4 days per week : Tuesday - Friday 0630-1700 plus call rotation which will be equitable amongst the staff to include weekday, weekend and holiday coverage. The holidays to include one of the following commitments Thanksgiving (Thurs morning at 0630-Monday morning at 0630), Christmas (Thurs morning at 0630-Monday morning at 0630) or New Years (Thurs morning at 0630-Monday morning at 0630). We are open to which one they may choose. CERTS / LICENSES / REGISTRATIONS : Must maintain current, active license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado or compact state Must maintain current CPR certification. Must maintain current ACLS certification. Must maintain current PALS or PEARS. 5 years expereince is required.
