PRN Registered Nurse - IMC Psych Adult

Summary : \n\nThe qualified Nurse in a clinical setting practices independently and demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of various patient situations. This role involves providing both routine and complex care with the capability to focus on long-term goals and plans. The Nurse continues to develop skills necessary to cope with the diverse challenges of clinical nursing, making appropriate assignments and delegating tasks to optimize overall patient care.\n\nResponsibilities : \n

• Exceeds the expectations of the OneCHRISTUS Competencies : Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.\n
• In alignment with the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, delivers nursing care by following the nursing process, which includes assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for all assigned patients.\n
• Effectively addresses complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families according to professional practice levels.\n
• Administers medications and treatments per established protocol; monitors treatment effects and potential side effects diligently.\n
• Accurately documents patient history, symptoms, treatments, and care provided.\n
• Evaluates learning needs and educates patients, family members, and caregivers while identifying relevant issues and resources.\n\nJob Requirements : \n\nEducation / Skills : \n
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is preferred.\n\nExperience : \n
• Preferred : 1 year of experience in the relevant nursing specialty.\n\nLicenses, Registrations, or Certifications : \n
• BLS certification required.\n
• RN License in the state of employment or compact required.\n\nWork Schedule : \n\nPRN\n\nWork Type : \n\nPer Diem As Needed
