Overview This position reports directly to the Director of Operations for day-to-day facility operations. The Office Manager is accountable for managing in-bound and out-bound shipping, inventory, Quality Control, record keeping, equipment maintenance, customer engagement and managing all warehouse personnel. This position also sees to the administration of all facility functions necessary for ongoing upkeep, housekeeping, building maintenance, and conformance to civil codes. This position also engages in QC testing and warehousing in support of those operators to meet surges in demand for the product.

Site Management related responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Lead and Manage : Oversee and supervise all aspects of warehouse operations, warehouse layout, inventory, logistics and staff.
Operational Efficiency : Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency focusing on customer satisfaction.
Inventory Management : Control and manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate data.
Logistics Coordination : Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations.
Team Leadership : Lead, motivate, and train warehouse team providing regular feedback to achieve performance goals.
Safety & Compliance : Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all legal and company regulations.
Customer Engagement : Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers through various interactions.
Managing service contractor issues, e.g. housekeeping, security, etc.
Interfacing with landlord on-site maintenance and repair issues.
Interfacing with corporate IT on voice and data infrastructure issues.
Interfacing with local Fire Marshall and any other civil agency, as necessary.
Maintaining an equipment structure and level to accomplish the warehouse and receiving mission in a safe, effective manner.
Developing and recommending annual budget requirements for the warehouse, future personnel requirements, and future material handling equipment.
Q.C. projectors, lenses, plasmas, switchers, cameras and all other equipment owned by Nationwide in the predetermined amount of time given for each item.
Following the rules and regulations of the “Q.C. Handbook.”
Conformance to 5S standards.
Answering phones and providing 24 / 7 tech support as scheduled on the weekly after-hour rotation.
Warehousing functions including palletizing, de-palletizing, in-bound / outbound order verification, and shipping / receiving duties, including lift truck and box operation as needed.
Maintaining 99.5% accuracy with all inbound / outbound shipments.
Internal dissemination of relevant information concerning any of the above, as needed.
Responsibility for any Ad hoc projects as initiated by the company President.

Supervisory Responsibilities This position supervises various building and maintenance vendors, QC Technicians, Warehouse Technician and clerical employees.
Work Environment Work is regularly performed in a combination of office and warehouse environments and is regularly exposed to heavy machinery and noise.
Physical Demands While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and required standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and / or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of office operation are Monday through Friday 8 : 00am to 6 : 00pm. Occasional evening and weekend work are required as job duties demand as well as a 24 / 7 rotational on-call schedule.
Travel Travel may be required for this position as mandated by the needs of other Nationwide locations which would include out-of-area and overnight travel.
Required Education and Experience Minimum of one year of experience in A / V rental industry or related field.
Minimum of two years’ experience in warehouse / site management.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education and Experience 2-5 years of experience in A / V rental industry or related field.
2-5 years of experience in warehouse / site management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in customer / client engagement
Ability to multitask and prioritize
Experience with inventory management software systems
Basic understanding of warehouse equipment (forklifts)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Associate’s degree or industry-related Certification
