It is everyone’s job at Westwood to serve our members and their guests, but specifically, it is a host’s job to seat individuals so they may begin their dining experience. Hosts...

  • Welcome and greet diners entering the club.
  • Take, manage, and organize reservations and wait lists.
  • Take members and guests to their tables while providing them with menus.
  • Possess knowledge of table numbers, position, and seat numbers in relevant dining outlets, as well as each dining outlet’s dress code and rules.
  • Maintain a clean host stand and lobby.
  • Answer phone calls and answer questions.
  • Have a strong understanding of our menus in each dining outlet.
  • Assist other staff as needed.
  • Understand the Westwood standards and work towards serving the member experience.

Tipped Employee Benefits :

  • Hourly pay plus service charge from to-go orders (split among working hosts)

    Qualifications, Job Requirements, & Schedule :

  • Enjoys the challenge of working quickly and efficiently.
  • Ability to both plan ahead and improvise as plans change
  • Demonstrates good energy and motivation, as well as professionalism and diplomacy
  • Regular and reliable attendance, available during the day as well as evenings, weekdays, weekends, and some holidays
  • Can remain standing for several hours straight and can carry about 20 pounds easily
  • Regular (or semi-regular) schedule with at least three days / shifts of working availability per week
  • Prior restaurant experience (preferred)
  • High school graduate or equivalent (preferred)
