Parkview Physicians Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our practice, which employs excellent diplomatic communication skills. The ideal candidate should have the ability to collaborate with intra- and interdepartmental team members, as well as community organizations or members. A qualified candidate would be able to multitask and utilize critical thinking skills to best serve our patients.
Schedule and Responsibilities
- Shift from 5 : 00 am to 5 : 30 pm, with occasional 7 : 00 am to 7 : 30 pm shifts, on a rotating basis (1 : 3). No call required.
- Work in an inpatient setting at PRMC.
- Primary work location at PRMC with some outreach clinics.
- Collaborate with 6 other neurology NPs and neurologists.
- Participate in quality improvement and patient care initiatives.
- Perform procedures including intubations, arterial and central line placements, in collaboration with attending physicians for clinical rounds, family discussions, documentation, and procedural oversight.
- Manage acute ICU-level conditions such as stroke, recurrent seizures, neuromuscular emergencies, neuro-prognostication after cardiac arrest, and post-operative neurosurgical care.
Job Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Master of Science in Nursing program (DNP optional).Current or pending state license for Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.Current or pending certification by an approved professional certification organization.Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred.Certifications as required by specialty (may include but are not limited to) :
