As an Accounting Associate, you will prepare general ledger entries in accordance with internal policy and guidelines and perform Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. You will generate monthly financial reports and provide support for regulatory filings. In addition, you'll investigate and report any financial irregularities for account reconciliation, as well as provide support for employee benefits and payroll.
Well qualified candidates will bring :
Associate degree in Accounting or related study (will consider experience in lieu of degree)Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role; nonprofit experience preferredStrong experience with general ledger journal entries and financial statement experienceAccounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and credit card experienceExperience with benefits administrationStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently while providing support to a great existing teamApplicable experience in widely used computer programs, such as Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, Peachtree, Blackbaud, Foundant, and NextGenExperience providing hardware, software and systems support would be a plusThis position comes with :
