About the Clinician's Workday Location 1 : This site sees about 27K annual visits (74 daily) with 12 ED beds and no fast track / PIT. Coverage includes 24 MD hours in 12-hour shifts (6a6p / 6p6a) and 20 APC hours daily in 10-hour shifts (9a7p / 1p11p). EMR : Cerner.\nLocation 2 : This site has 39K annual visits (~2.35 patients per hour) with 37 beds (3032 typically in use). Physician coverage runs a variety of 810 hour shifts weekdays and weekends, while APCs cover 2728 hours daily with PIT on weekdays. No scribes. It is a Level 3 trauma center (currently on diversion), with specialty backup and admitting / bridging orders.
