Administrative Assistant

Key Responsibilities :
- Perform daily administrative duties to ensure smooth office operations
- Manage procurement of supplies and equipment
- Generate purchase orders and delivery tickets for customer orders
- Maintain and update inventory, HR, payroll, and workflow databases
- Operate and upkeep office equipment such as copiers, printers, scanners, and fax machines
- Coordinate temporary housing arrangements for rotational employees including scheduling and addressing inquiries
- Organize and maintain local files and records
- Assist in new hire onboarding procedures in collaboration with HR
- Provide guidance on administrative and payroll processes to employees
- Handle phone calls, take messages, and redirect calls as necessary
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence
- Liaise with employees, clients, and suppliers to offer information and resolve inquiries
- Retrieve information from files and records to address requests
- Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and arrange appointments
Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 2 years of administrative experiencePrior experience with purchase orders is highly desirableFamiliarity with timekeeping systems is a plusProficient in computer skills with a quick ability to learn new software programsProficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)Must be proactive, detail-oriented, and well-organizedClient Benefits :
