Overview

The Application Engineer will be responsible for working closely with customers to understand their needs while being able to recommend tailored engineering solutions. The Sales Engineer role will also provide support throughout the entire sales process by creating proposals, collaborating with engineering / manufacturing teams, and ensuring solutions meet performance standards after installation. Our client is a manufacturing company specializing in advanced vibration isolation systems and high-quality electronic enclosures for defense, aerospace, and industrial applications. They\'re looking for a new Sales Engineer to join the team and serve as the first point of technical contact for customers, while bridging the gap with the manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries, showcasing your technical knowledge and professionalism
• Interpret customer requirements and guide internal teams to create effective, application-specific solutions
• Collaborate closely with design, purchasing, and manufacturing teams to ensure customer expectations are met
• Attend customer site visits, trade shows, and industry events to build strong relationships and identify new opportunities
• Help uncover emerging markets and business development prospects
• Ensure CRM systems are kept up to date for effective reporting and opportunity tracking
