We have an immediate opening for an HVAC Service Technician. This position will work with residential homeowners for service, maintenance, and repairs.

Position : HVAC Service Technician

Benefits : Union Benefits

Pay : Union Scale

Schedule :

Monday Through Friday

7 : 00am to 4 : 00pm

Full-Time

Overtime available

What you will be doing :

Dispatched to calls by our expertly trained in-house dispatcher

Service / maintenance / repair on residential heating and air conditioning systems

Consulting customers on repair or replacement options as needed

Educating customers on new technology and IAQ accessories

Providing the customer with a high-quality experience

Testing and balancing systems

Required Qualifications :

Valid driver's license and insurable driving record

2 years of residential HVAC Service experience or combination of education and experience

EPA Type 1 & 2 or EPA Universal Certification

Familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques

Advanced customer service skills

Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints

Knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques

Ability to consult on customer complaints and give solutions that are beneficial for customers as well as company

Well organized and ability to work independently

Verbal and written communication skills

Certificate of completion from a HVAC Technical School desired

High school diploma or its equivalent
