Anesthesiologist needed in LA- Lake Charles is 75m from Lafayette, LA and 150m from Houston, TX- Full-Time; Permanent- Direct employment by hospital- Surgical Case Variety : OB / GYN, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Urologic, Pediatrics, Neurosurgery, Cardiothoracic, Vascular, Trauma ( Level III)- Regarding Pediatrics Typically 3 4 weeks is the youngest. Occasionally, neonates for pyloric stenosis- No epidurals at the main campus, all done by CRNAs at the Womens Campus- Looking for General Anesthesiologist but Cardiac experience is a plus- Two facility locations : 315 bed Main Campus Hospital and Multidisciplinary Women and Childrens Hospital- Main Campus has 16 ORs and a 5 room endoscopy suite- Womens Campus has 6 ORs- Established Anesthesiology team including7 Physicians and more than 20 CRNAs- CRNA oversight- Approximate hours : 6 : 30am noon or could be until 5 : 00. (there is always one late physician until 5 : 00pm) if on nights, come in at 5 : 00pm and finish any cases left from the day but are still on-call until 6 : 00am for 7 days- Medical, Dental, Vision, 403(b) plan and deferred compensation plan are offered- Starting bonus- Relocation reimbursement- Student loan forgiveness- Paid professional liability insurance- CME and Dues / Memberships reimbursement- Competitive vacation & holiday time off Community Lake Charles is conveniently located off of I-10 between Houston and New Orleans.
