This role focuses on leveraging model-based engineering techniques to enhance system design and integration for complex defense projects. At Noblis, you will contribute to missions that significantly enhance national security and defense, operating at the forefront of technological innovation. Lead the development and analysis of complex system architectures using model-based systems engineering tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate system specifications into manageable models that align with stakeholder requirements. Ensure integration of all the subsystems within the model, maintaining overall system functionality and performance. Manage project deliverables, timelines, and documentation efficiently, adhering to both company guidelines and federal regulations. Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers within the team. Continually update and maintain system models to reflect any changes or updates in technology and project scope. Proficiency in model-based systems engineering tools like SysML, MagicDraw, or Rhapsody. Strong understanding of the systems development lifecycle (SDLC), especially in a military or aerospace context. Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to lead and work collaboratively in a high-stakes, team-oriented environment.
