Quality Supervisor
Shift : 2nd shift
Reports to : Quality Engineer
Work Location : Holland, MI
Responsibilities :
- Understand and explain current and past quality alerts, work instructions and containment plans
- Ability to lead a team across multiple shifts, performing inspections of finished or in-process goods
- Investigates quality failures and recommends changes to internal procedures to prevent future quality issues
- Understanding of boundary samples, determining good vs. bad parts and mistake proofing / poke-yokes in manufacturing processes
- Ability to communicate corrective actions / countermeasures effectively to all levels within the facility
- Understanding of sort procedure for non-conforming parts, successfully gage all product and make decisions based on fit, form and function of how the product interacts with customer usage
- Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to work within established safety guidelines for the plant and assigned work area
- Ability to work in a factory environment with exposure to moderate levels of noise, dust, heat, moving machinery and forklift traffic
Requirements :
High school diploma or GED.4+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Quality Control Experience preferred.Stable work history and reliable transportation.Able to work 2nd shift, weekends and overtime as needed.Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.Bilingual (English / Spanish) Required or strongly preferred.Key Competencies :
