Pediatric Hospitalist opening : Kennebec County, ME Located 55m to Portland Candidates must be comfortable with neonatal resuscitation and stabilization of critically ill newborns while awaiting transfer to a tertiary care center Position Details Full-time, permanent Provide care for newborns (level II nursery), pediatric inpatients, and emergency department consults at a state-of-the-art facility Team of 4 full time Pediatric Hospitalists and 30 full time Adult Hospitalists 13 shifts per month with flexible scheduling 12 or 24 hour shifts available (6 : 30am-6 : 30pm) Provide care independently each shift with support from OBs, midwives, anesthesia and family practice physicians Average daily census of 4-6 patients Benefits : Supporting all aspects of employees wellness physical, emotional and financial is a critical component of being a great place to work.
