Position Overview :
The Construction Project Coordinator supports our project managers and field crews by managing the day-to-day administrative and scheduling needs of active projects. This role is critical to keeping projects on time, organized, and moving forward. We’re seeking someone with both office skills and construction experience who understands how projects flow and what’s needed to keep them on track.
Key Responsibilities :
- Create and track purchase orders for materials, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Prepare and submit permits; coordinate inspections with local municipalities.
- Support project scheduling (subcontractors, deliveries, EagleView reports, vendor orders).
- Assist with job documentation and maintain project files in JobTread (our project management software).
- Communicate with clients, vendors, and subs to ensure smooth coordination.
- Participate in preconstruction site meetings to gather information, document scope, and support project setup.
- Assist management in improving systems and processes to make operations more efficient.
- Provide general administrative support to the project management team.
Qualifications :
Prior experience in construction administration, project coordination, or project management support.Strong understanding of residential construction processes and terminology.Highly organized, detail-driven, and able to manage multiple tasks at once.Comfortable with project management software (experience with JobTread, Buildertrend, or Co-Construct a plus).Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.Compensation :
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on experience.Growth potential toward the higher end of the range ($40 / hr) for candidates who bring proven construction coordination experience, high autonomy, and systems improvement skills.Why Join Us?
